The Returns Center moved full steam ahead
Spedimex has launched a new e-commerce returns service center. The facility with an area of 30 000 m² completed the existing logistics investments of Spedimex in Stryków.
Clothing items, which are returns from the Internet channel, are handled in the newly created facility. The warehouse has been equipped with 120 product processing stations, 3 automatic ironing tunnels, 4 sewing stations, as well as over 1.5 km of automatic conveyor lines, improving the handling of returns.
The new warehouse allows to increase the efficiency of processed clothing and ensures efficient customer service. It carries out all activities related to restoring products to stock. Articles of clothing are ironed and refreshed in automatic steam tunnels. Sewing stations are helpful in making minor repairs directly at the facility. In turn, automatic conveyors allow for efficient internal warehouse transport.
With the comfort of employees in mind, an aesthetically and comfortably equipped social area was also created, with a space of 200 m². The applied technological solutions of the building allow for economical use of resources. In close proximity to the warehouse, a green space surrounding the investment has been created.
The new facility completed the Spedimex warehouse complex in Stryków, the total area of which already amounts to nearly 120 thousand square meters.
