Łazarski University students on a study trip to Spedimex.
The Spedimex warehouse was visited by a group of over 20 students from Lazarski University in Warsaw. During the study visit, students of the Faculty of Economics and Management, within the specialty of Transport, Shipping and Logistics, got acquainted with the specificity of handling returns.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to learn about the processes taking place in the Spedimex return warehouse, which handles the e-commerce sector. They learned how the facility was created, from the space and process planning phase, through implementation, to a fully functioning warehouse. The issues of security, to which Spedimex attaches particular importance, were also discussed.
During the meeting, the branch manager told how automation supports the returns handled in the warehouse. Participants of the study trip also had the opportunity to talk to employees of various specialties to learn about the specifics of working in the sector and to be inspired to look for their own career path.
As part of the workshop, students presented their ideas for modern e-commerce solutions, the most interesting of which were awarded.
