Spedimex in a new location in Rzeszów
At the beginning of September, the Rzeszów branch of Spedimex was moved to a new location in the Panattoni Park Rzeszów II logistics complex. A modern terminal with an area of 5 000 m² will increase the operational capacity for the growing volume of parcels handled in south-eastern Poland.
– The new branch is about 3 500 m² of additional space for running and developing business in the region. It also means more loading docks, an extended area for cross-docking and storage, which ultimately gives us much more opportunities - confirms Bartłomiej Lech, Branch Manager. - Environmentally and employee-friendly solutions were also important to us when choosing the facility. The terminal provides charging stations for electric vehicles, a roofed place for parking bicycles, solutions to reduce energy and water consumption, as well as numerous green areas around the complex.
5 000 m² of storage space and 300 m² of office space.
The branch in the new location is nearly 5 000 m², of which 300 m² is office space. It has 11 reloading gates, including one from the "0" level. It employs 20 peoples. It has a parking lot for 15 passenger cars and 8 trucks, as well as 10 places for bicycles.
Location conducive to the distribution of goods.
The main task of the branch is to handle shipments in the region of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship and provide operational support to parts of the Małopolskie and Świętokrzyskie Voivodships. In addition to tasks related to reloading and distribution of shipments, it also serves as a logistics warehouse.
The terminal is located in the vicinity of the Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport and near the junction of the A4 motorway and the S19 road, which creates favorable conditions for the distribution of shipments both in the region and abroad.
Certified environmentally friendly building.
In addition, the facility provides a safe and comfortable working environment, and, thanks to the use of solutions that generate energy and water savings, it is environmentally friendly. The building has obtained BREEAM certification at the very good level, which means that it meets the highest standards in terms of ecology and comfort of use.
